Now this one sounds like quite the matchup ...
The BBW Bowl’s Shelton, who habitually rose at 5 a.m., went to the weight room at the clubhouse in the subdivision in which he lived, then went to the Fiesta Bowl offices.

I did not know our game attendance last year was a 13 year Gator Bowl low. I'm sure Northwestern did not travel well but that still looks bad for us. We have the Liberty Bowl attendance record already and last i saw, we had the Peach Bowl record.
Northwestern had a pitiful showing much like wake at the music city. It shouldn't look bad for MSU. It was our 2nd gator in three years and we overwhelmingly outnumbered Northwestern who was looking for a bowl win.
Vandy deserves Gator Bowl over UGA. Vandy would have brought nice crowd as well... It's an unfair system... I remember in 2010 UGA got beat by UCF in the Liberty Bowl and The crowd was pathetic it's all about momentum. We had zero momentum heading into last year's Gator Bowl and it showed on the field and with our lack of support at the bowl game. I bought 40 yard line tix for $15 and had empty seats all around me...
Vandy is not a terrible team and they beat Georgia head to head. UGA is middle of the pack SEC this year.
Vandy caught Georgia at the perfect time, at the height of their injury bug. That is probably the only week of the season where Vandy would beat Georgia. But again, Georgia had more SEC wins and played a tougher schedule. Georgia deserved the Gator.
