He is dead weight..He just has that look like he don't want to be there....He acts like its his world we are just there to watch. Its little things I have noticed like the layup drill after the half coming out and basically walking up to the goal and throwing up a so called layup and missing it....now I know that nobody is taking that serious but he just takes it to another level. I have seen him get on the floor for a loose ball but then laid there like a beached whale for several seconds, only to get up and go into the visitors tunnel for like 10 minutes. Moultrie is miles ahead of Sidney..Sidney might have potential but he is severely lacking in work ethic.

Now, it's just fodder for what some hope to be a disaster of a season.

These agenda driven posts are getting so 17ing old.

I don't see one. We have top 20 talent on the team. There really isn't a reason we don't go to the NCAA unless its just bad coaching, or we have a few knees blown out.

People seem to perceive C34 as antagonistic, I used to as well. He wants us to win. There's been zillions of excuses offered in the Stansbury era.

Tha Kang say winning cures everything. Win Rick, that's all you have to do.

He hasn't helped the Colts do **** this year. Our problem ain't talent, it's getting them to play. Sidney can play but he missed several games last year. Bost is a bad-*** but missed half the season. They gotta give us a full year. Stansbury will never be mistaken for an X's and O's genius, but these knuckleheads have to avoid suspensions.

The fact we have the 5th best talent in a conference you're always quick to remind us is second rate? And now Moultrie and Hood are better than Bost and Sidney? You think the coaches don't know more about those players than we do (espcially Hood since most all of them at least evaluated him last year)? And we all know that 1 of the 2 All-SEC players is a walking disaster waiting to happen. We'll be lucky if he's not more trouble than he's worth when this season is over with. He certainly wasn't worth it last year.

as he has done with so many other teams. Stans has done with less with more, more timesthan any coach I can think of. I don't understand how some of you cannot see how much 17ing talent the guy has wasted on the court over the years. I'd be willing to put Stans up against any other DI coach in North American as the top talent wasting coach in the last decade. I mean come on, that piss poor ******** excuse of an offense we try to run is pathetic. We just move around on the court like some street ball team, hoping a defender will slip down and someone will come open for a shot. We run effective plays about 12.666667% of our possessions and just hope one of our athletes can make a play the remaining posessions. Defensively, he is a decent coach but other than that we look like an And-1 team out there just slinging it around.

Every time Stans holds that index finger up to call that ****** rotation play (the only 17ing play we ever seem to run) I want to spear him into the scorers table. Wake up people, wake up.

I said Hood and Moultrie have outplayed them so far...but we havent had much "so far" to judge- but what we have had is encouraging- these guys have been as good as advertised<div>
</div><div>What do you mean supported by what?</div><div>
</div><div>Hood is rated one of the top Freshman in the country</div><div>Sporting News rated Bost the 7th best PG in the nation</div><div>Coaches are voting Sidney 2nd team All-SEC</div><div>Moultrie is rated a top 20 NBA pick in the 2013 draft and already has 10 career double-doubles</div><div>

I agree with attentionwhore34 for once. The talent is there to finish in the top 4 of the SEC at a minimum which should translate into no worse than a second round NCAA tournament game.

Hood is really good but not near as good as Bost. Moultrie is light years ahead of Sidney's fat *** right now.

that will tell me whether this will be a frustrating season or something to look forward to in March:

1. Defense by someone other than Bost
2. Rebounding in general.
3. How players 6,7,8 perform.

Hood and Bost will most likely have a good game as they are pretty consistant
Moultrie will hustle and attack on offense.
I'm sure that we'll still take our share of 3 pters

But if the same defense in the last 10 minutes of the last game is what we put on the court tonight, I'm not going to be very encouraged.

Behind Vandy and UK... I think Moultrie will be on the post-season All-SEC teams with Bost and the RSS... Hood might be close, and for sure on all-freshmens team...
The Verdict is still out on the RSS......

John Riek was dead weight. Sidney hasn't and may never live up to his potential, but he can play 20-25 minutes and give us anywhere from 10 to 30 points in that time. His defense isn't great, but you all have to stop expecting him to step up to stop a guard that someone else got burned by and come away without a foul every single time. He plays good defense against the opposing center consistently. We're better off with him than without him. I understand all these negative feelings must be coming from all the trouble he caused last year, but it's in the past and it's getting old. Just accept him for what he is; he's not the superstar we all wanted him to be, but he's far from useless.

Florida is still pretty darn talented, especially at the guard spots.Bama has a good startingfive but I think ourbench is much better.

I have always supported Stansbury but last year left a pretty crappy taste in my mouth. I think Ravern and Kodi were a big part of it our underachievement the last couple of years but if we fail this year then it falls squarely on Stansbury, with or without Sidney.
