While both of Day's incidents didn't look great, I'm not sure there is clear video evidence that they were intentional. In both cases, he was moving forward and needed to jump the guy to avoid falling on him.

from that second, field-level angle, it doesn't look like much - it is one foot, not two (you can't tell that from the overhead shot) and hit is a glancing blow, rather than a full on stomp. The overhead shot looks horrible, like he loaded up and jumped on him, and I was pissed when I saw it. But the replay at field level looks like he was shooting to get his foot down past the player, and the player moved. Note that his foot slides down to the turf. Not saying it felt good, because obviously it didn't, not even saying it was necessarily unintentional. but it isn't like he speared the guy with his helmet at full speed or something.
