So the point of the hurry up offense is to wear the defense down by not allowing

substitutions. Saban, knowing this, bitches about players getting hurt, and all of a sudden the officials start sitting on the ball and not allowing A&M to snap the ball if Saban wants to substitute. That's some ********, because I sure can't remember the officials letting any other team sub on A&M like this.

Looks to me like they are allowing it only when A&M subs. But to your point, I love the fact that Saban is bitching about this hurry up offense and what Oregon and A&M are doing. That's just too damn bad Nick. Guess you better figure it out.

They do the same thing every game. Saban is making sure to take advantage of it. We didn't sub EVERY TIME they subbed in a fresh WR. Had we, the refs would've done the same thing.

Gary Danielson said Bama subs when aTm subs, even if Bama doesn't need to sub - to slow the game down.

Chris Wilson's head just exploded.

The more I watch this, the more frustrated I get.

Not that we played poor defensively, I really don't think you can blame the defense as much as you can the offense. Early on, after being down 21-0, we didn't do ANYTHING to play our way back in the game. WE had a 4th and 2 or 3 that we didn't go for... we had the interception which led to A and M points. We didn't do what we needed to do offensively to engineer drives and keep them off the field. They started blitzing russell hard and we gave into the pressure, instead of having plays drawn up to beat the blitz. That's far more frustrating than the defense.

There's no black helicopters. It's done every game. Teams have realized its a way to slow TAMU down.
