1. Stansbury steps down, making Dawggeezer the loser of out bet
2. The Stansbury Apologists, in an effort to strike back, lash out at Cohen for his lack of offense this season, and also try to discredit his Sweet 16 as a "lucky occurrence"
3. The Baseball Bulldogs promptly outscore top 15 ranked LSU this weekend
4. Stansbury Apologist/Cohen-haters magically shut-up

That's about right

and not as "Coach34", I can assure you. Want to know who he is? Tune in to The B & B Show tomorrow.

You're welcome for the free pub, shouldn't help out the "competition" this way.

I guess you could label me as a Stansburyapologist, since I like where he has brought our program and the expectations that led to his doom are a good thing. You can't label me as a Cohen hater though. Say what you will, but I still have dreams of Omaha in my head. So your prediction isn't a catch all, but to be honest I think you are close.

in C34 that is. One of my old teamates told me who he was a year or two ago & I already forgot (C34 used to carry his clipboard for him at Coffeeville). I think he was characterized as a batshit crazy MSU fan though.

And I know he would never make that clipboard comment...he and everybody else knew what went on in the program

Class. Although that is a pretty good scheme to increase your listener number to double digits.

I'm about sick and 17ing tired of the Cohen bashers. If we had our top 5 17ing hitters in the lineup, we would have swept LSU. Also, for the Butch Thompson haters, our pitchers are 17ing ballin. Also so glad Stans is gone. I think it's good he said he's going to stick around Starkville though, but I'm ready for a real coach. We would have made the tourney this year with Bost, Moultrie and 3 Ben Hansbrough types with a real coach. Not to mention we had Hood.

a little embellishing (to appeal to your ego). And Jeffrey was the one that said you talked MSU sports all the time. Perry didn't say anything bad about you.

Gottfried, who has been chastised by many here as an "inferior coach" being back in the Sweet 16...

Stan Heath, another old friend, and former apologist example of why not to make a coaching change, is currently leading and less than a half away from taking USF to their first ever sweet 16 in school history...

And who is obsessed with whom. I am hoping we get a good replacement and I want Cohen to succeed too. I will be interested to see if you use the same criteria in judging him though . Cohen is 30-62 in the SEC at this moment at MSU. Fair is fair.

Open mouth, insert foot!

USF blew that one in the second half... Guess maybe they are right about this one!

Well, first of all- you did lose the bet. And while I dont want you gone for a year because we dont know if you would still be alive by then- a week off would make me feel like you honored the bet a little.

We havent won the West since the 1990's- who gives a **** about SEC record? Does he win in the NCAA Tourney? That answer is yes- he made it to a Super Regional.

Basketball and Baseball are judged on NCAA Tourney apprearances and what is done while you are there. This is not 1960- more than just the SEC champ advances in the postseason now.
