So... what happens now?

Who goes to the National Championship Game?

There are no undefeated teams in the SEC anymore. So... let's assume Ohio State wins against Michigan State next week and FSU beats Duke... does the committee pick a 1 loss Auburn or Missouri over an Undefeated Ohio State and FSU?

I have to think they will go with OSU... I really do. If both those teams win, I just don't think you can make an argument to keep them out, even with the SOS SEC teams have to play with.

Of course. This isn't even a discussion, IMO. It's FSU/OSU right now with Auburn filling in if Duke or Mich State pull off an upset.

If you want to make it interesting, what happens if:

TAMU beats Missouri
USCe beats Clemson
USCe beats Auburn
Michigan State beats Ohio State

If Oklahoma State beats OU, do they go all the way to #2?

If all of the above happen except Clemson beats USCe, do we have an FSU Clemson rematch?

Bottom line is tonight and next week there are some huge results in all of this.

1 loss Alabama gets back in the National Championship game against 1 loss Oklahoma State or 1 loss Michigan State if that scenario plays out. Alabama falls no further than #5 in the BCS Standings after this loss. Alabama is still a great football team, and nobody can deny that. This was a close loss on the road to an arch rival. Alabama still has a strong outside shot to slip into the title game if a few teams lose in the next couple of weeks.

I tend to agree. You start asking humans to rank the one loss teams, and it's going to be hard to put Bama behind Oklahoma State, Clemson (if they beat USC), Baylor, etc.

My prediction for the NCG is Florida State vs. Alabama. I think Ohio State loses to Michigan State, Missouri loses to TAMU, Clemson loses to USCe, Auburn loses to USCe. Hate it for Ok State, but they get the shaft for the second time in 3 years to another Alabama team that doesn't win its own division.
