We ended up 5th. If Vandy, Auburn, or if we had won, we would have gotten the bye. No one to put this one on but us and our absolute lack of any offensive talent and ability.

If that is true then we play the #12 seed Tuesday night.

Now the rest of you can go back to your wailing and gnashing of teeth.

We can go a LONG way.

The kicker here is the word 'IF'. Also, while in debbie downer mode, keep in mind that we have a whopping 1 win against the top 4 in the conference & that one required a miracle 9th inning comeback.

My take is that we have the pitching to compete with anyone but not the offense. We lost two very good hitters off of last years team and essentially three since Rea has turned into a liability and will likely spend much of the post season on the bench. I really hope he gets it figured out next season.

Noted ...

But you do know that it is really hard to win games against Florida and USCe when you don't play 'em. 1-5 is bad enough but it wasn't 1-11.

Say what you want 'bout Cohen ... but he DOES seem to get the most outta his teams at the end of the year.

We have 2 wins against the top 4 in the conference. And we didn't play 2 of the top 4.
