I suspect that D1's algorithm overrates teams with really good records against lower tier competition.

Yeah. Warren Nolan had them beating us Friday too. They’re a perfect example of why most computer models are garbage. They do a great job of calculating formulas. But when the formulas are wrong the result is wrong. If you put Northeastern in the SEC, they’d finish behind South Carolina.
Oh, in case I don't hate the Siary move today quite as much, if the hypothetical Monday game is midweek vs. midweek.
I still think I would have pitched Sullivan against Northeastern, but it's moot at this point.
If it comes to that, we will be going to back to McPherson and probably even Davis.
McPherson should be available for a few innings Monday. But Davis threw 87 pitches Friday. He’s probably done.
