So why isn't Chizick's name on anyone's short list?

He's undefeated in the freaking SEC! Probably gonna win the NC and recruited the probable HT winner. It really chaps me that people just assume a successful coach at State can't wait for the next gig, but successful coaches at AL, AU, FL etc. have "destination" jobs.

Do not get me wrong Chizick has done a good job but he is one player away from having 4 to 5 losses this year. I could see Gus Malzahn leaving for Texas after the season is done. His stock will go down next year without Newton. Gus is a good coach but guys like Newton only come around a few times in a career. Texas will be ready to shell out the big bucks for an OC.</p>

If they win the NC, they should let Gus Mahlzahn hold up the crystal ball.

Chiszek showed how good he was at Iowa State.

Assuming no major issues come out of Camgate, he will likely receive a nice upgrade after this season. If something major does come from Camgate, he will be tainted goods. If I was an AD of any school, he would not be on my list because of the uncertainty surrounding this whole situation.

He's much better than I thought he would be. But without Cecil's entrepeneurership, Auburn is staring at the Liberty Bowl this year.
