Maybe, but the point is that new coverage is not going to lead to harsher penalties.

Don't even try to compare this to Penn State -- that is so off the charts it is unbelievable. It is also absurd for people to compare this to rumors of other recruits receiving benefits, when there has been no NCAA investigation of those rumors.

So far this appears to be a simple case. A booster got out of hand, MSU self-reported, the booster has been disassociated and a coach let go. Penalties will be light. I think if there was more to it then MSU would not have self-reported in the first place.

This is exactly right brother. This guy nailed it.

The problem is our damn AD is straight laced former Hall-Monitor and Cheerleader...

He want's to play within the rules, and if he finds out we are breaking them he will turn us in. It all comes back to Scott and Brackey...

Denton's about 33, and currently resides in the Atlanta area, but not Roswell. He also shows a current address in Baltimore. Who I believe are his parents live in Jackson. They're probably from Long Beach, originally. Denton most likely graduated from there.

Isn't he the one that tracked down the Madison central driver in 2011? If so, he went completely insane obsessing over that crap then. I guess he made it his mission in life to become that crooked booster that would get players to MSU. He was so pissed about singleton, cj, and whitehead that he couldn't see straight. All on the old BDJ boards.

Herring/Hack was a huge douche. 17 that guy.

That guy went from some normal message board poster to the gay love child of Tennstud and 7dust overnight. He spent countless hours wasting his time trying to convince people the "driver" wasn't a bad dude. (I have no clue if he is or isn't.) Think about that. He tracked down a dude who was basically an agent, listened to his story and then started defending the guy.

From there on out, he was a self-proclaimed recruiting expert. It worries me, though, about the Brandon Hill news that has come out. Herring had a hard-on something fierce for that kid, and his dumbass may have tried to do something there.

Devinner probably played his dumbass like a fool.

I'm glad he has been dissociated from the university.
