Spoke with a fella that has been following the program very closely and has
great access to the program since the 1970's. Yea, he is old. He said this team
has about as much overall talent as he has seen over the years. Maybe not a Clark/Palmerio type
of guy but very solid talent in all positions. He was extremely wooly.

Hitting should be better
Pitching probably won't be quite as good since we lost Stratton, but still is probably a top 4-5 staff in the SEC with a lot of depth. I think the Canadians will help out a lot- Kyle Hann might start at second and Jacob Robson will get a lot of playing time in the outfield. Trey Porter had some type of surgery not too long ago and CT Bradford is rehabbing, but will be ready to go by Jan. if not sooner.
Wes Rea has looked really good-has hit some home runs including some off of breaking balls. Hunter Renfroe has a chance to bust out, and Demarcus Henderson has looked pretty good.

No one really has any baseball scoop except Gene, who really does a good job of attending scrimmages and posting results. No one else really seems interested enough to dig. We have some baseball gurus on this board but they just lift Gene's info and PG tweets and put them over here and twist it into their own words. Guess it's better than nothing.
