I'm hoping they somehow pull of getting M'Vila and Eden Hazard and then either Jagielka or Cahill.

I like Nasri as a player but if he wants to go to Man City so badly, I say let him go. Although the ******* in me wants to play him against Udinese so he's cup-tied.

It might be easier for the Gunners to make Europe by winning a cup this season. They also need discipline.

If Martin comes over great. Honestly, I was surprised to see Nasri get the start vs Liverpool.

I would take even money that Wenger doesn't make it through the entire premier league. I know he's legendary for the club, but I see a very big possibility of ze Gunners not finishing in the top 5 of the table.

...but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Gunners finish out of the top five either.

It's very strange how things have unfolded there this summer. It's easy to jump to the conclusion that it's Wenger being stubborn or whatever, but I wonder if he's running into some resistance from their board to spend. I heard some guys on TalkSport UK (yes, take it for what it's worth) saying they thought it wasn't the transfer fees that were causing the Arsenal board to balk, but the actual wage increases that correspond with the high priced players. They were saying the current board is quite happy to make huge profits, finish 4th and still in the Champions League every year while not having to pay players Chelsea or Man U type wages. Once Kroenke takes sole control maybe that will change. It seems like this problem is a few years in the making since Arsenal didn't really sign anyone but Nasri and Vermaellan over the last few years (and they were relatively cheap at the time).

Hopefully, Wenger brings in about 4-5 impact players this week. That current squad is no better than mid-table (and please don't let Chamakh back on the field!).

Also, by being a top tier team and making it to the finals of the Champions League, creates another 70m+ payment from UEFA. It takes money to make money, and we need some players stat. I wouldn't be surprised to see Udinese win this week 2-0 and eliminate the Gunners from Champions league play. Sad.
