Who ya got? I think not having Michael Bradley is going to hurt - I'm not completely sold on Jermaine Jones. I'm guessing we'll see a 1-1 tie.

Three other players suspended. I'd love a USA win as well but I don't know... Mexico's backs are against the wall and I think they might have a shot... USA 1, Mexico 1.

If my freaking power goes out and makes me miss this game...

If our backs such like they have been, they'll beat us by two. Down or not.

We're putting a lot on Jermaine Jones, whom I don't have a lot of confidence in.

I don't know, I just don't feel great about it. Let me see how it starts out.

im trying to get into soccer, and i usually do come world-cup time, but damn....in that espn intro video, what really stuck out to me is how many douchebags consider themselves US soccer fans. we seriously need to upgrade our fanbase, otherwise i feel like a punk cheering for the same team as these clowns.

1-1 draw....our ticket doesnt get punched tonight

I think that might change your mind.

A little bit of knowledge.. Jermaime Jones lived in Greenwood at one time when he was younger

I actually knew that, but based off of his play lately I don't say that anymore.

Dad was in the army, lived there when he was very young.

The US team must've watched The Exorcist last night. They seem to be afraid of possession...

Michael Bradley is THAT important, sadly. I've thought he was our most important for a while, and these past two games have just reaffirmed that (and yes, I know that's all the damn announcers say- they're right half the time).

They've settled a little, but you are right. We miss Bradley.
Completely agree. I may get railed for this but Josie Altidore being out also hurts a lot. I believe it was the Germany game in Washington that proves that. He always ends up in the right spot at the right time

Their movement off the ball has been mostly reactive, which makes them appear a step slow. Amazing what a difference a couple of players can make...

Good final 60 minutes. For once, I can't think of a single American who played poorly. I think what is so significant is that this was not a fully stocked US squad. Nice to see a strong home crowd as well.

I believe Bradley might be the most important player to the US. The game flows through him. However, to compete in Brazil, we'll really need Bradley, Dempsey, Donovan, Altidore and Howard to be in top form. Along with everyone else, but they'll be the difference makers.

Nice win for the USA

Very happy to have been wrong on my score prediction. Now if Mexico can just continue to implode, everything will be great.

Yes. Very nice win. Back on top of the group and clinched our spot in Brazil with 2 games remaining. Looked like a completely different team last night than they did Friday. Still can't believe that first header by Johnson didn't go in. He is a beast, and he's not even our best striker. Very strange to see the USA with so many legitimate goal-scoring threats after going so long without even 1.
