Utah State in the second round is interesting. 18-1-3. We'd get Kentucky/Notre Dame in Starkville in Round 3. Stanford/Arkansas likely in Round 4.
We essentially got the No. 2 overall seed. We play in Starkville until the College Cup and we havent given up a goal in Starkville all season.

I don't like having Arkansas as our 2 and UK as our 5. That being said, Utah State as our 8 is borderline criminal. They're 17th in RPI and won the Mtn West tourney.
17th is higher than the 5 (24), 6 (33), and 7 (39) seeds in our bracket, and it feels like someone screwed up something when making the bracket, then had to fix it.

James Armstrong. He just signed an extension, but yeah, I feel like he's going to be hard to retain.
Hosting 4 games will be huge, we never seemed to have a rhythm in the SEC tournament. They thrive on the home crowd.

Izquierdo announced yesterday that her season is officially over. Hopefully, somebody can step up and help Hodge across the middle. We were a different team after Izquierdo went down.
Alright all you non-soccer and marginal soccer fans of our beloved university, get behind this team. This is something to cheer about during an otherwise dismal and disappointing season as a State fan.
So we play Southern this coming weekend and assuming we win will host one, possibly two games the weekend of the Mizzou football game. Really got a chance for some big soccer crowds.
It’s Utah St. I’m sure they don’t suck. But the level of competition is much lower than the major conferences. Pretty sure Notre Dame or Kentucky would beat them. Washington might.

We've been waiting a whole year to get revenge for last year's basketball debacle. IT'S PAYBACK TIME BITCHES.
First game is 5:00 Saturday. It’s going to be packed. We’ve got to make some adjustments in midfield defense. As Dawg says we’re not the same team without Izquierdo in midfield. Good news is this game gives us a big chance to try those adjustments without much risk of a loss.
Even with mediocre crowds for football if we can convert some of these to the soccer stadium it could be electric.
The team is already drawing 2,000-3,000 in a stadium with 500 seats. That's going to be a crazy atmosphere for the tournament.
