Final Regular Season Game and big SEC Tournament implications.
I posted this before, but I’ll post it here too. We get a first round bye (top 4 seed) if:
1. We beat Georgia and South Carolina loses or ties against Vandy.
2. We beat Georgia and Tennessee loses or ties against Alabama.
3. We tie Georgia and Tennessee loses to Alabama and South Carolina loses to Vandy and Kentucky loses or ties with A&M and LSU loses or ties with Florida.
We go beyond that and we’re into common opponents and goal differentials.
We can get as high as the 2 seed (if we beat Georgia and South Carolina beats Vandy and Alabama beats or ties Tennessee and we somehow win on tiebreakers) or as low as the 8 seed if we lose and South Carolina, Kentucky, and LSU win.
For the soccer uninitiated, a win is 3 points, a tie is 1 point, and a loss is 0 points.
