MSU Softball snapped a 21-game losing streak to LSU, beating the No. 12 Tigers in a dramatic come-from-behind victory.

It was the first win vs. LSU by the Dawgs since 2005.

Vann Stuedeman's squad is 16-5 and just defeated a team that made the Women's College World Series last year. They took LSU to 14 innings last night in a 1-0 defeat, so they are one pitch away from being 2-0 vs. one of the top teams in the country.

Here's video of the final out today, along with the team singing Hail State with the capacity crowd:

Sun at 1. Will be another epic pitching duel

Friday night fico and Owen went 14innings both only giving up 1 run and 7 hits I think. Owen threw 187 pitches and came back today and got the save.

if you aren't going to baseball, you really should come support them, it's free, too

Now that our girls won a big game, they'll start getting their self-worth from something other than pleasing their man.

I still don't see how they can throw so many pitches, and play so often

I know it's not baseball, but they throw hard too. Amazing to me. Wonder how we'll do against Alabama. Be nice to beat them at least once.

It's not about how hard they throw

It's about how natural the motion is. Underhand is more natural, and won't 17 up your shoulder.

Yeah, I understand but it's still amazing. But I think it would 17 up my shoulder .... Maybe they have different muscles ... some other parts are different ....

I always wondered why more baseball pitchers haven't tried the same underhand motion....something even lower than a submariner.
