Bailiff at Rice, from 3-9 to 9-3 are you kidding me? That maybe an off the radar guy.

I'm sick and tired of talking with Bulldog fans who just think we will always be as we have been. I know Byrne for one wants to improve his resume and he will not fail with us. Expect the next guy to be making equal to Crooms 1.7 or higher. Still don't rule Peterson out. Let the agents get in there and do they talking in his ear like they did with Saban. As they say, you gotta strike while the iron is hot. Whittingham would be a steal.

even if we were to be able to get them would they make us wait until AFTER their bowl game to come. If so, we could be without a coach for another month. Edited to say that Bama ended up waiting about that long for Saban and that seems to have turned out alright for them.

run off some of Jackie's recruits with his first "class"? It seems like Croom signed most all of them.

They had bad character flaws and poor decision making abilities. We did, however, get to keep Mike Henig for 4 years.

If a bowl bound coach was hired (I hope so). I would want him to coach in his bowl game because it will likely be another two weeks before a coach is announced. By that time his respective team will likely be in deep preparation for their game. Also, let ESPN advertise that this coach is going to be leaving for MSU following this game (This would be good advertising for recruits to see the coach on the national stage). Lastly, how much could really be done when school is not in session. (assuming a hire isn't made til mid December and his bowl is around new years).
I would however want him to send his recruiting coordinator and strength coach to get their feet wet early.
