It looks as if Dee Arrington may pass his classes afterall. Wink wink..... Felker is staying on top making sure he goes to all his classes plus some. Dee is an early release student, and Felker said hell no I want Dee in all the classes he can get. That is good news because the news earlier in the year was that he may not qualify. On another note from my source Dee is a good kid with a good personality. This is all good news because he may can make an immediate impact on Defense. I wouldn't mind seeing Balis put about 20 pounds on him and let's try him at linebacker. We are gonna need some playmakers there after this year. He's a good safety and running back but I think he has more to offer. The Qb Clint Hatten from stone is not a bad player either. He needs some coaching though. we have not offered him but do you think Mullen will sign more than one Qb?

That's kind of what I was thinking, especially considering we don't have any leaving until after next season. Clint Hatten has a highlight reel on youtube from his junior year. He is good just needs some better coaching.

That's good news.... I'm not sure how Arringtons ACT test came out but I will try to find out. He has been working hard to pass so maybe it paid off and he actually learned something.

We offered a preferred walk on spot to Chandler Rodgers from Brookhaven Academy.

times. He isn't one to exaggerate and has watched alot of ball over the years and he thinks Rogers could play SEC ball. I would be surprised if he accepts our invited walkon offer but I'd love to see it.

looks like a solid scout team QB to me from the film that I've seen. It's just going to depend on if he gets any offers from a smaller school and what he wants to do.

Me, personally, I would LOVE to be the scout team QB. You get to tell girls that you are a QB on the football team, there's really not a whole lot of stress, and you might end up like Mike Pizinski at best or Tyson Lee at worst.

Yeah Dee is a hard hitter, but I was even more impressed when he had the ball in his hands. He didn't run a lot the first 3 games this year, but he could honestly play any skill positions on both sides of the ball. He's big and with some strength training he will only get better.

I went to most of Stone High football games this year. Dee is a quiet kid off the field buta monster hitter on the field. Had a couple of issues andhad to sit outfor 1st quarter in 2 games.Clint is not coachable,i have seen him beratelineman and coaches during the game (complaining like its not his fault). He threw approximately 7 - 10 interceptions in red zone with at least 4 being returned for touchdowns. Clint is a knucklehead. He will go to JuCo at Perk and probably be run off after one week. Dee on the otherhand should be agood playerforMSU.

Fronts. In my experience the scout team guys had plenty of

I will say that Rogers is a solid high school QB. He is probably a guy who should get some offers from C-USA or Sun Belt schools. As far as I know right now his only offer is from Cornell. He played much better last year than this year. He only 2 or 3 picks his junior year but I know he has thrown at least 10 this year. The times this year I have watched him play he is forcing a lot of balls, which he didn't seem to do last year. He also has a funky throwing motion. It looks like he is pushing the ball. However, Brookhaven Academy has a freak at WR named Bubba Keene who we should offer for both football and baseball. He could play both in college but I think he is leaning towards baseball. Mullen/Cohen needs to get on him fast before someone else does.
