Some nice pick ups for the Yankees today

I'm surprised the Mariners traded him. Pitching is so valuable- and for a catcher? Pineda makes the Yankees a lot better in my opinion- I want to see if Nova can have another year like he did last year before I totally buy him- but Pineda should be no worse than the Yankees 3 and maybe 2 if Nova was a flash in the pan. Burnett needs to be a five.
....and both of those spots are taken in the Yankee line up for the next 6-7 years. Pineda on the ther hand will come in and be the number 2. Sabathia>Pineda is going to be tough to deal with, and Kuroda>Nova is a nice 3-4.
I'm not sure if Burnett will be the #5 or not. I wouldn't be completely shocked if they ate a chunk of his salary and tried to trade him off. Either I way I am thrilled with the trade that was made. The rotation just got much better
