Are being a little harsh on Mullen and Russell. Did you think a guy was going to come in and turn one of only 2 SEC schools (the other being USC who joined 20 years ago) that has never had a 1st round QB, or any good QBs actually, into an offensive juggernaut with the first guy?

Russell is all Mullen, but had Mullen been here its unlikely Russell would have been the one and only guy to take over as he's a guy unlike any other QB Mullen has ever hand picked.

The defense let everyone down this year, and one out of 4 years with a bad defense is something I'm willing to deal with.

The offense is something we've been having to work with as Relf and Russell graduate and we actually work decent receivers into our roster. Before the Ole Miss game I thought everyone was in agreement over this.

What's changed?

what's changed = foresight has now become hindsight and

as has already been written here on the board is the fact that we appear not much better than 4 years ago when we had a short walk-on QB and Crooms players ... I think it's more impatience than it is an incompetence thing ... with Croom, it felt more like incompetence .... however, it appears that maybe Dan is becoming guilty of the thing that hindered Croom - and that is the refusal to make adjustments on the staff

People probably are being a little too harsh, but both Mullen and Russell deserve to catch a lot of hell after the last 2 games of this season. Mullen needs to evalute a lot of things this offseason, one of which needs to be what offense he's going to run and who his QB is going to be.

Mullen makes 2.6 million dollars a year. I am allowed to be harsh when he doesn't act like he wants to earn it by quitting and shitting the bed in our only games against other teams with a pulse.

I'm right there with you, but I think some of it is unwarranted. We got Mullen's offense in 2010 and 2011 with a QB Mullen would have never stuck out there if he had another option, and due to a coaching change we happen to have a statue passer out there, and we're running an offense our senior receiving corp wasn't used to running.

Croom deserves the majority of the blame for our offensive line, while Mullen deserves a lot of blame too for not filling with JUCO prospects and firing Hevesey.

Year 4 guys. We gave Croom 5 and he **** the bed in comparison and even then we got roasted by a lot of ESPN guys for cutting the cord too soon. Now you want to fire a guy who has won 7, 8, and 9 games and has a 3-1 record against Ole Miss and a 2-1 record in bowls, one of those 100000 to 20 against Michigan?

The 2008 team wasn't going to turn into the UF Gators overnight.
