Somehow I knew when we couldn't hold onto the 3rd strike tip...

Stratton threw a great slider that fooled the hitter... but he got enough of it to get to the outfield.

What hurt Stratton, was getting squeezed on the first hitter of the inning.

are trying to do the same thing we are...WIN. Give credit where credit is due. Great job of hitting. The Dawgs responded next AB, like good teams do, by scoring a run and reclaiming the lead.

the guy gets credit, he's a good hitter and when he got a second chance after Slaughter couldn't hold the foul tip third strike he came through with the hit.

and dropped foul tip is EXACTLY what they said. Not everyone can sit in front of a TV screen during work hours.

I happened to watch the replay very closely, and the ball hit the ground and the bottom of his knee at about the same time, he had no chance to catch it.

I've just read enough about Slaughters poor play on6P, and I don't think he has gotten a fair shake...catching is a tough job. So I just had to respond.

Thanks.
