Someone explain to me

Why did we schedule an away OOC game on a Thursday night and not get national TV coverage? I have the local Orlando cable and they don't have FSN. So many people have posted here that their TV provider doesn't carry the game. Although I can watch UNLV vs Wis. I just think we wasted a game that more people would have gone to if we played Sat night.

other than not objecting to the decision to move the game made by Memphis. It was originally scheduled as a Saturday game. The TV coverage is part of CUSA's deal with Fox Sports.

There is a rule about only getting to start practicing 27 days, or something like that, before your season. That means we got two extra practices for the year.

Then the Conference USA TV partner asked to move it....

We signed off because it is an easy trip to make in the midweek and because this allowed us to open fall camp two days earlier (plus two more days for the Auburn contest)

According to worthless Comcast, ESPN sold rights to Fox and many thosecarriers don,t carry SportsSouth. Yet another reason to dump them for a satellite dish.
