You know, it won't be long before some idiot flies one of those into a stadium during a game. The law will have to catch up with technology pretty soon.
Remote controlled aircraft, along with ultralights and other non-regulated forms of flight, must still follow all airport keyhole exceptions and NOTAMs (Notice to Air Men). The law is already in place that prevents someone from flying a drone into a stadium during a game. For that matter it keeps you from flying a plane over the stadium, shooting a model rocket over it, flying a powered paraglider and parachuting (when you see a group parachute into a stadium they have a specific FAA waiver). Not exactly sure what more government regulation is going to do short of killing off a new and emerging technology.
