This shows 4 teams selected by the committee but says Alabama vs Oregon in the semifinal. I may not be seeing something or reading right but from this it looks like 6 teams in it.

Peach and Cotton are not part of the playoff this year but are still selected by the playoff committee since they are two of the six bowls in rotation for the playoffs. The committee selects peach, cotton, rose, sugar, orange, and fiesta every year regardless of whether or not they are part of the playoff that particular year.

Oh ok. I should've realized the article was on "SEC BOWL PREDICTIONS" then Bama and Oregon in the semifinal would've made sense. I was looking for the other semi finalists. I guess my entitlement thinking of the SEC confused me when I only saw one SEC semi finalist. Thanks. Carry on.

It confused the hell out of me for a minute when I first looked at it. Not sure why they didn't name which playoff "bowl" it would be for Bama Oregon.
