One thing I haven't asked is if the road bridge will not be utilized any longer or will they just expand the pedestrian bridge and keep the road. I guess we will find out 8/20.

This area of non-walk ability has been an issue for years. Still surprised someone hasn’t gotten killed at the intersection on Gameday.

The more and better routes over 12 the better. And discourage people from wandering around near it.

Still curious what engineer decided it was a good idea to pump high speed 4 lane between a town and college campus.

It's in the University's master plan from 2022 as a land bridge and looks like they're just taking out the pedestrian bridge

Those art buildings plans to the west of the bridge are already out of date. The university and foundation are doing a land swap so the foundation owns/will own those to have all that land to go with the hotel.
There has been some utility work right on the edge of campus the last few weeks, with trees being cleared and some big power poles have been put in place near this area.
