Is there anyone on the planet besides Brad Childress that still wants to see Favre play football or thinks he can still lead a team deep into the playoffs?

I though he and Madden would ride off into the sunset together.

complete with text messaging voting to decide if he retires or what team he should go to. I have always loved him as a player but I agree he has become quite the prima donna.

and I have a hard time blaming him for the media coverage. He hasn't called a single press conference or anything that I'm aware of.

He knows it's the off-season and there isn't much to talk about. Besides, the NFL wets their collective pants about anything and everything Brett Favre's overrated *** does.

I'm sick of the way he handles it. If he wants to play, then fine. Play. If you want to retire, fine. Retire. But this every year retirement reminds me of a pretty girl that calls herself fat, fishing for compliments. It just stinks of him looking for reaffirmation. "Everyone still loves me, right?"

I'm so sick of Brett Favre.

it's amusing.

Plus, he would be a real help to the Vikings. He wouldn't have to do as much. He'd play in a dome. I think he could make them a super bowl contender. And if he can do that, why not play?

or not. I just can't understand how WWL can devote so much time every off season to this crap. I mean, he hasn't even met with childress or the Vikings. It's mind-boggling that they can spend 45 minutes of the hour long sportscenter speculating about Favre.

Not to mention, in my opinion, most of the collective NFL fan base doesn't give a **** about the story.

He always tries to do too much. Even when he does not have to. At least 5 times a game he will force a pass into double coverage instead of taking the sack or throwing it away. He destroyed the Jets at the end of last season with his interceptions.

I'm intrigued by the possibility of him playing with a team that really only lacks a solid QB. I could do without all the will he/won't he media coverage right now though.

Ate at a Mexican restaurant tonight and they had a Mexican sports station on. They were showing Mexican soccer for a while then next thing I know the words "Vavre con Minnesota" were at the bottom of the screen and they were showing video of that SOB.

Brett didn't call the media and tell them to spend every minute talking about this story. He hasn't called the media every year and told them he wasn't sure if he was coming back. They have been calling him and asking him what he is going to do. The media is the one to blame. Look at how the media treats Obama. I can't stand Obama but its not his fault that the media is in love with him. If Brett wants to play I say play. Besides, how great would it be if he smokes the Packers twice this year.

Yeah, the Media gets a frenzy in their loins for some reason. I'm sure the media is a toilet snake to get samples to investigate the color and viscosity of his stool.

Of course the media is at fault but you're blind pal if you don't give him any blame in this circus. He's a liar and a media *****. He sends text messages to Trent Dilfer. He leaves voice mails with Chris Mortensen. He sends e-mails to Ed Werder. He goes on TV with a song a dance on FOX News with his wife's friend Geta Van Susteren.

For me, what would be great is if he went to minnesota and Aaron Rodgers beat his *** twice. At least "he" will secure the record for career interceptions by throwing another 20 or so this year.

God Bless Steve McNair.
