Very happy for him.

Also saw Will Grier is now the number 2 QB in Dallas. If he'd get a start for the Cowboys, when was the last time WVU had two former QB's starting in the NFL at the same time?

Barring another injury, Will Grier won't get a start in Dallas because Cooper Rush is undefeated in his four starts and Dak Prescott is only a week or two away from returning to the Lineup.

I know, but he's next in line and anything can happen....I thought Dak was out for a lot longer, so it does seem unlikely.

Now that he finally has a real opportunity in the NFL:

Geno Smith Has Made Impressive NFL Quarterback History

excerpt: Smith has displayed pinpoint accuracy at a historic rate this season. As noted by ESPN Stats & Info, his 77.3 completion percentage is the highest mark ever through four games among quarterbacks with at least 125 passing attempts.

Of course ESPN celebrates Geno long after he left WVU. ESPN hates WVU and their sole focus is to destroy our program and the state. This is their most important long-term vision as we all know, first Thursday nights then Wednesdays, then 1-AA. They think about WVU all the time and could care less about anything else.

Without the final season with Holgorsen and the exposure that brought he may not have even had the chance to make the NFL.
that is an opinion and merely a hypothetical ascertion. Come on Knox!. Geno's TDs were more but other stats were less. The facts show Geno likely played consistently with the coaching staff Stew had at the time (Holgorsen!). I say, hypothetically too like you did, Geno would have play as well with what coaching he had as a junior then what he had as a senior. Not much would have changed except a stat here or there.

I hope the by-year WVU stats pasted in correctly to this post.
