Something to remember about State's class vs UM's.........

Our needs were not/are not as urgent and immediate as UMs.........They lost a helluva lot to graduation so they'll need players that can come in and play right away, whereas State's class has a lot of guys that won't make immeidate impacts but hopefully will develop over the next 2-3 years.....We just don't have as many holes to fill next year as they do.........Not taking anything away from their class, it's good and UM fans deservedly have reason to be happy......Next year will tell the tale for MSU recruiting....Two marginal classes in a row can stymie a program's growth so we've got to recruit well next year........

I think we picked up some goodplayers that will help our football team. The end of the world is not coming and we will be in abowl game next year. That is all.

We went 5-7 last year. We have pressing needs too. Immediate impact players are more than welcome.

last year we hardly had enough receivers to hold Spring practice( under the new Offense).

Second thing: I think Mullen is ok with where we are at QB. Yes, he tried to go out and get a blue chipper or two, but when it was evident that they weren't going to sign, Mullen did not just go and start offering to anybody out there that played QB. He was cherry picking. He does not seem panicked about it.

However, I like our class........It has the one thing you can't coach and that's size........Fortunately we have a lot of guys back so these guys will have time to develop....
