When he failed his drug test, he claimed he must have failed due to a B-12 shot he got from Tejada. Tejada claimed he was innocent, had never had any drugs, and Palmeiro was lying. Tejada has now been convicted of lying about buying HGH. Also Adam Piatt is on record stating that he sold Tejada steroids. Any chance that Palmeiro, who still maintains his innocence I think, was really innocent?

Where is the motive? At the time Tejada was not under suspicion. I have to believe that Tejada wouldn't knowingly deceive Raffy for no reason, unless he thought a little juice might up his avg and boost his hr season total into the 60s.

They never increase rapidly over a year or so, he was steady his entire career. His size was never distorted or looked out of proportioned (i.e. Bonds). I know I'm biased but nobody looked as confident in denying the steriods like him in Washington, not to mention the few theories I just stated concerning increasing production and physique...

I thought the same thing, regarding his body type and size and such. I recall seeing an article talking about Raffy's noticeably different physique one year after he was exiled from baseball, specifically the weight loss. A quick Google search (shock) found this article.

AA - still a 10-year-old believing in Raffy
