Sometimes I feel like Cohen is trying to reinvent the wheel

I said coming in that all I wanted from Cohen is a limited number of "head scratching decisions" and no more than one "meltdown". We are still a year or two away from being competitive talent wise, but it appears that he is doing well on remedying that. I have been a Cohen supporter no doubt, but he is making it hard. Bring in the 97 mph throwing freshman and end it.

His first season, he batted someone out of order. That's the kind of thing even the worst little league coach never does. He either had a brain-fart, or was trying to cheat.

as the 97 MPH throwing freshman- I think they want to get him more experience when we have a little more of a lead. He is very inexperienced and can be wild, which is not what you want with a 1-0 lead.

Now, Caleb Reed I would have been OK with.

entered the game in the top of the 9th. He got an out, followed by a walk, another out, followed up by another walk, and then the 3rd out. He definitely can bring the heat, but a lot of time he's so raw he doesn't know where it's going. Like Todd said, that's something you definitely do not want with a 1 run game.

I was afraid with him being a freshman of making a mistake on a pitch. Throwing that hard, if you get a good pitch it is gone. I was hoping for Reed if we brought someone in for Jones. After the single, I was hoping they would bring him into the game.
