Wow most of these songs are terrible
There had to be one. As if that has anything to do with the point of this thread.
Had heard of them, but never seen them - great song and love the Court Tavern backdrop! Looked them up and saw that they have roots in Bigger Thomas, one of my favorite NB bands (great ska band) from thh 80s into the 90s.
Here you go...loved them in the late 70s/early 80s out of Philly and saw them a bunch. Just copy the URL from the video, click on the "link" icon in a post (2 left of the three vertical dots), then paste the URL in and hit return...
Damn, another great NJ band. One of my favorites. Got to see them about 6-7 times during the first few albums, including our then 15-year old son's first "grown up" show in a bar (all ages show with 2 of his buddies, my wife and me at the Stone Pony in 2009) and he got to see what a bit of moshing/slam dancing and was hooked.
Two songs from 1962 and 1977 before many posters were born and in the case of the first song, before I started listening to music... Although the first song doesn't have the word dance in the title, the lyrics are appropriate. A few other bands also released covers of the song over the next few years.
