Take off the maroon glasses for a second bud. Yes he did play for Ole Miss, but it is actually a pretty touching story. Don't act like its terrible just because he played for our rival. Im happy for the guy and Im glad that he was able to make something of his life. </p>

I actually dont know the whole story. I just know the basics. And im sure hollywood embellished things a little bit to try to make it even more touching. What about his story isnt true? I honestly dont know

or... "This team is your family Michael. When you look at him, you think of me, and how you have my back. Are you going to protect the family, Michael?"

and my personal favorite..."Who's that big guy eating with your little brother?" ..........."That's his big brother." Single tear.

...SIGH.

I'll believe their story when they stop claiming to have completely altruistic motives when they took in Oher. They doth protest too much. And are too quick to pat themselves on the back for helping said massive OT.

and this movie appears to have driven right off the road with it. Sigma Chi sweetheart Mrs. Tuohy going into the hood and going toe-to-toe with gangbangers. That's just Disney fantasy.

Burning crosses in his yard, racial epitaphs hurled at games, death threats tied to rocks thrown through his window before AND after the Maine went down.

Is Croom or Mississippi State going to even make an appearance in this hurl fest? I noticed Croom wasn't making an appearance as himself like the other SEC coaches. How can they leave out their instate rival?? Could it be that even Hollywood realizes how terrible and irrelevant Croom was? whoa...

These folks had graduated some time before they ever met Michael. They weren't attempting to do anything other than help the young man, but I'm sure some here will disagree and claim that they were diabolically engineering those 8 SEC wins that he experienced over his career at OM. And those posters can suck it. It's sour grapes because your program is in the *******.

that Sean Touhy, a former Ole Miss athlete and very wealthy alum, adopted a huge black kid who, as it happened, couldn't make the grades at Briarcrest so he couldn't play football despite Freeze wanting him, out of the goodness of his heart? Sean Touhy, who once called an MSU basketball player a thug on live radio? Then, amazingly, Hugh Freeze, his coach at Briarcrest, becomes an assistant at Ole Miss after the loving, Christan Touhys hooked Oher up with tutors and the BYU classes, all because he's such a damn good guy? Jesus Q. Christ, ya'll are gullible, stupid, or both.

that sums up your response much easier than that **** you wrote and is much more believable.

And I would tell you that even if we were picked to be on top. I don't give a rat's *** about Ole Miss, or where they are picked, or where we are picked. I actually work in the entertainment world and can see the ******** all over this movie. I would much rather see a movie about Chuckie Mullens than this made for hollywood ******** supposed feel good/good hearted white people story.

The book and movie has so many lies in it that anybody who knows the Touhy situation knows it has been embellished and if he was a true saint, he would have adopted all the Oher kids. This was planned all along and Freeze and Briarcrest was all the rebel cigar boys needed to get another kid in school who probably wouldn't have gotten in had he not been a top prospect. The story is wonderful but unfortunately a lot of it is fiction.

Most of them are his half-brothers and half-sisters.

Most of them had didn't have much to do with Mike in the first place.

Oh, and his real last name wasn't even Oher when they adopted him.

But I'm sure you knew all that, right?
