Will not have any upper deck seating on Thursday. It doesn't sound like BSU sold very many tickets - at all.

the real question is whether or not more people will be outside tailgating than inside watching the game.

The bright side is that they closed the upper deck.

Otherwise it might have looked like Reliant Stadium last year. You could have shot a shotgun in that place and not hit people in some places.

They just didn't want it to feel too much like a ole miss home game playing in front of a half empty stadium so they closed it off. Gotta keep it a neutral field.

That's going to be par for the course for neutral site games between non-elite teams. When fans already have 7 home games to go to, plus a probably bowl game, not too many are going to travel for a neutral site game. I know some die-hard Bulldog fans who didn't go to Houston last year and some die-hard Bear fans who aren't going to Atlanta. I really don't like the concept of these season opening games in NFL stadiums. Give me a home-and-home anytime.

Well, there is basically only one fan base involved here (OM). BSU is coming off a 8-5 season, have an entire new staff, they're way across the country, that's a lot to ask.

If this was OM/VirginiaTech (or any other ACC school) I think they would be selling a few more tickets.

100,000 fans will be in the grove during the game in Atlanta,

including tens of thousands of Boise State fans.

Yeah this is not good for the SEC, why not have two schools closer to ATL play the game.

I only know 1 or 2 of my Bear acquaintances that are going. Could be a very small crowd.
