Would be an interesting canidate for sure...Davis has kinda flew under the radar and I am not sure if thats a good thing, when I talk to friends his name comes up as one that needs to produce a little better at his position

Rathman's been coaching in the league for a long time with a top reputation. I'm sure he's fond of Nebraska (if I recall he married his high school sweetheart from Grand Island) and has family ties, but he's been on the west coast a looong time. I'm not sure Nebraska could drag him back for a college job even if he was unemployed.

Not saying Riley shouldn't give him a call, though. It would sure be a coup if they could land him.

His dad owns a construction company in chapman.I was told Tom loves it on the west coast. Didn't sound like he had much desire to return, but hey you never know he did just lose his job.

Rathman is more than familiar with the WCO and certainly knows guys on staff. Worth a call, but don't get your hopes up.
