The ESPN Sunday morning show has sure been pumping UNC up the last few weeks. One, ND's season is over and two, OSU is not even in their conference championship So, guess there's a chance, even with a very weak schedule...but that doesn't seem to be factored in much.
I would hate to see RichRod end up with the gamecocks.... I think he would be a perfect fit for them with the quality athletes he could get to run his offense
Wow, just wow. Muschamp failed at a better easier job in the same damned division. Seems that the chickens are panicked now that Herman is staying put in Houston (waiting for Tejas or Tejas A&M job IMO) and Georgia preemptively took Smart away from them. Also rumored to be eyeing former UK OC candidate Lincoln Riley.
I'd be pretty darned happy as a UK football fan if we enter 2016 with Kirby Smart at Georgia & Will Muschamp at South Carolina and whoever the hell scrambling Mizzou ends up with at this point. Well, happy as a UK fan can be considering we are not exactly in any position whatsoever to take advantage of turmoil and rebuilding within our division.
USCjr is going to interview Rich Rod and Greg Schiano so if they end up with Muschamp it will be an epic fail
The big issue with Coach Rodriguez is will he play the same type of offense or conform. His offense tends to give teams fits the first couple of times seeing it.
Ha, maybe you haven't been paying attention spanky but UK was 0-3 against Muschamp. UK's gonna have to get a helluvalot better to even dream of passing these mediocre SEC East coaches that now lead our competition. So climbing the ladder has nothing to do with UK getting better but everything to do with other teams getting worse? That attitude is why UK will always be a bottom feeder.
With our offensive line , i doubt he would have been a hot commodityInteresting that Riley is on the radar for head jobs like this. Had we been able to hire him as OC last year we probably would not have kept him long.

I tend to agree with JHB. The early resignation by tOBC gave USCjr plenty of time to lay some pipe to be in the mix for the "best" guys out there. With the Holtz and Spurrier hires they showed they would be major players in the coaching derbies. Are they????USCjr's coaching search is ALREADY an epic fail. Superior retired/quit TWO MONTHS AGO. And they are behind the ball STILL interviewing candidates when most other big jobs have already done their hiring, Georgia, Miami, Va Tech, Mizzou today?
I'm sorry, you misspelled "hopeful" as "worried"If they were to hire Riley , should we be worried big brother Stoops might come in and hire Dawson away ?
lol , I thought I'd get some great responses with that statement . Yours is classic !I'm sorry, you misspelled "hopeful" as "worried"
Interesting hire. A lot less pressure at SC, but also a lot less talent than he had at FL.
Hope not Riley because that probably moves them back in front of us as early as next yearWow, just wow. Muschamp failed at a better easier job in the same damned division.
