Hard to judge when you pick up a player with limited action from a really bad team, but I'm gonna trust this staff saw something worth pursuing.
Good players on bad teams or something like that. That’s not how you preshit or prefart for that matter. That was hardly even a prepoot !
I'm trying not to be about that preshit lifestyle. I'll postshit or even ****-in-the-moment, but preshitting on BOC and this team seems wrong.
I assume Parker had at least a hand in the recruitment of Pitzer(1st SC pitcher), but this most recent one was at a JUCO prior to SC. I'm a bit skeptical of both, but I am going to trust this staff.

We went out and hire and paying the guy we think who knows what he is doing. I have faith he knows who he is signing.
I don't mind this one. Seems like an under the radar kid with a lot of potential.
He's 6'6" and strikes out a lot of batters. But obviously he gets hit hard and has control issues too often. Last season was his first exposure to top level college ball. He'll probably be much more effective this year with solid coaching.

gonna bet on a pitching coach seeing a few things to tweak that could make many pitchers much better...
Honestly if Parker likes him and BOC signed off on it I wouldn't question their decision. I think they both know more about baseball than me. Plus 6'6 is impressive. We had a post not long ago about our pitchers bring too short. I already put a down payment on a house in Omaha cause I know we are gonna live there
One thing to remember is that the roster isn’t final until January….there is always cuts after fall practice
