I mean have you looked at the slate for this year? I wouldn't say teams that suck are playing on Friday. If they can guarantee a night game, I would take that over noon on Saturday every year.

UGA is playing tech on Friday. I think they did last year as well.

I don't see the big deal about it. Seems like it would make for a nice long weekend since no one really works on that Friday anyway.
