Any word on who is in line to get this since supposedly Price turned them down. Have they even starting interviewing yet?

What does the future look like for South Columbus. I don't know much about them but I did hear that a big name coach had an interest. Not hearsay, heard it from him personally.

I think the middle schoool feeders have done well the last couple of years and South Columbus should be strong in the upcoming years. As far as big name coach ... It's a two way street. The school has to want the coach as much as the coach wants the school. I have heard and seen vacant jobs in the past with a lot of interest from good coach es go to a inexperienced assistant or a no name. I have heard the West Bladen coach's name come up along with Joey Price's son, I know the St. Pauls coach ressigned recently and did a good job when he was there. He beat South Columbus two out of the last three ytears (if you can't beat them ... hire them). I would think that several good coaches would be interested in this job

Well that's cool sounds like you had a merry Christmas .... Can't wait to see becomes our head coach.... I had my fingers crossed for Battle Holley but that's not happening oh well...

West Bladen Coach Russell Dove was approved by the Columbus County BOE last night to be the next South Columbus Head Football Coach per bladenonline.com
