Looks like it is an on-campus event. If I am not mistaken, didn't the Huskers play the first game in Petco when it opened years ago?

You are mostly correct. The tournament the Huskers played in was the first event ever played at Petco. I think SDSU vs. Houston kicked off the tournament, and Nebraska played in the late game.

Wow, was unaware of the Huskers' history in Petco Park. Awesome fact!
