The last drive by MSU was a classic case of shoving the ball down the other team's throat until they liked it...........old school football

That is why I prefer the run oriented offenses over the pass oriented ones. When it gets down to the 4th quarter in crunch time a sustained smashmouth drive is a thing of beauty. When they were up in the 15-16 play range I knew Iowa was going to fail on that drive.

That was fantastic football. I consider myself priveledged to be a fan of a team that put forth such an effort. If you choose to talk trash about an Iowa team that overachieved, despite all of our real or perceived disadvantages, that is your problem as an individual, not as a football fan.

That last MSU drive was a sight to behold. They saw what Nebraska exposed and worked it.

It was a thing of beauty. At the same time MSU strays from it's true identity too much. I understand that Cook has grown much as a passer but that last drive was Spartan ball.

Great drive and when all the chips were in the middle of the table they had the commitment to run the ball. One day we will return to this also

That RB they were riding was amazing. Very hard to get him on the ground. I don't remember him being that dominant against us.

He only had a couple of carries in that game, Gerald Holmes was the workhorse for them against Nebraska.

I think that freshman may have earned himself allot of playing time.

On a post above it was mentioned that Nebraska exposed Iowa and MSU finished it.

I don't recall NU exposing Iowa. But, Iowa fisnished it against us with a couple of key runs, no mistake about it.

Banks' defense got exposed again!
