Croom/GB's first act during offseason should be to hire a dedicated QB coach to develop this guy. Otherwise, see former examples of regression:

It just does not make sense that he does alright last year and gets thrown under the bus this year. I could not blame him for transferring, I think this staff 17'd the **** out of him.

17 you croom
There are plenty of things you can blame Croom for. This one sure as hell isnt one of them. Right now he is playing the better QB of the two

I believe he had 7 ints. in the last three games last year. The staff allowed him to throw 4 ints. vs LaTech before he was replaced. I think that is justification enough to bench him.</p>

It was 3 and we still were not out of the game. Crooms has taken every effort explain away any poor play be Lee. Case and point the UT game, he blamed it on the knee injury and lucky vol defenders (ie Berry who has the most int return yards as a sophmore). Lee even admitted the knee was fine. Croom then went on to make him the offensive captain after said pitiful performance for MTSU.
Furthermore sometimes the interception is not entirely the QBs fault (to use a non MSU example) in the GaTech Miami game, good thrown ball to a Miami freshman WR, but the WR did not go to the ball and let the DB over take him and snatch it.
Carroll was SEC offensive player of the week twice last year. Since Carroll has been benched, we have yet to mount any kind of 4th quarter comeback.

Wow, defending Wes Carroll? I think he just doesn't have near the talent level to play in this league, and think he needs to transfer to DII, and I don't even think he'll start there. Although he has some good intangibles, he simply doesn't have any arm strength.
He will never be able to make some throws Tyson has made (the skinny post TD to McRae vs UK which was 40 yds on a rope and yesterday's deep post that was dropped)
I do think that Tyson's size limits him, but he's a better option every day of the week than Carrol.

however good T.Lee is this year, he will be worst next year if we keep the same staff. That's what I see. Every year under Croom our QBs get coached down in the off-season.
