Don't really need to write or read a review. Just know that this is an awful incomprehensible mess not worth the 15 seconds it takes to click on and read this post. Your life will be better if you agree with me. That is all.
I thought Spiderman was good but also had some blah moments as well.Shocking.
You can't really duplicate the original story, along with how those special FX looked in the late 90s early 2000s.
I dont even pay much attention to the blockbusters anymore. Spiderman is apparently good, but there's little I even care to see from this year that made its way to large cinemas.

I hate to be in the minority but I didn't really like any of the Matrix movies. The first one was decent as it was original and had cool FX. The others were just psychobabble - staring into your belly button and mainly a vehicle for action scenes. Just none of them really captured me. Haven't even taken the time to watch the trailer of this latest one.
I thought the trailer looked bad. I liked the first two films. Thought the third one was awful.Don't really need to write or read a review. Bond’s No Time to Die and Ghostbusters for me. Got burnt out on comic book movies about six years ago.Spider-Man was really good.
Bond was really good.
Those were the only two good movies this year I could think of.
Cruise's MI movies are great. The last helicopter fight sequence in Fallout culminating with the fight on the edge of the cliff is unconsciously spectacular. If Cruise can still do films from a movie series that began in 1996 and a sequel to Top Gun, Keanu is probably thinking why can't I? (Matrix and Bill and Ted).
You gotta go with arthouse movies these days. A24 is where all the good stuff is made nowShouldn't come as a shock that the new one isn't good. No one champions the sequels and they decided to dip into that well once again almost 20 years later when no one was pining for it. I get it though. If Cruise can still do films from a movie series that began in 1996 and a sequel to Top Gun, Keanu is probably thinking why can't I? (Matrix and Bill and Ted)
Hollywood, or maybe it's because Disney has practically taken over, has forgotten that adults want to watch movies too. Everything heavily promoted seems directed at kids or guys in their 40's who really need to feel that 80's and 90's nostalgia.
Those Wachowski Sisters are amazing
Finished it. Last half better than first half. That’s not saying much but it does improve slightly.
Who cares? Bound was great btw.Well, the brothers who made the first one are both chicks now so that should tell you all you need to know.
Completely agree on the MI films. They seem to get better as Cruise gets older. I haven't seen some of the Bond films but plan to soon.Cruise's MI movies are great. The last helicopter fight sequence in Fallout culminating with the fight on the edge of the cliff is unconsciously spectacular.
Same thing with James Bond though... WHY the need to change/screw up the music? Just stop messing with the music and use the original score PERIOD.
Definitely. I loved (looking at A24 film list) Locke, Amy, Ex Machina, Room, Green Room, Midsommar, First Reformed, De Palma, The Florida Project, Uncut Gems, Killing of a Sacred Deer, First Cow, Minari, Hereditary, Saint Maud, The Green Knight, The Witch, and The Lighthouse. That's pretty amazing for less than a decade. Speaking of Robert Eggers though, I'm really looking forward to The Northman. You gotta go with arthouse movies these days. Respectfully, I don’t know how someone wouldn’t enjoy a cool, feel good story.Spider-Man sucked.
I admit that I'm a movie snob. I'm highly critical. Just wasn't my thing.Respectfully, I don’t know how someone wouldn’t enjoy a cool, feel good story.
Jesus H. Christ how do two brothers BOTH decide they want to be women? That’s not even statistically possible I would guess. Those two are probably so codependent it’s scary.
The Matrix, and the first half of the second Matrix were amazing. The fight scene on the staircase in the second one is spectacular.
