There are three alternatives here. The best would be if we blew out every opponent by 30 points and nobody would be asking about worthiness. The second alternative is where we are at, 7-0 with some struggles to get there. Third could be sitting at 4-3 with losses to Oregon, NW and Indiana. In that case we would be totally irrelevant. While alternative 1 would be nice, I am perfectly fine with alternative 2, so I really don't give a S#$% what ESPN thinks.

It is interesting, this could be the unsexiest top-ten matchup of the season. They are trying to find something exciting to advertise. Seems like it is being sold as the "Tommy Armstrong" show tonight.

This will actually save us some of the backlash that Iowa received last year. Iowa played an even weaker schedule than us, the entire year, and were undefeated at the end of the year. People stupidly hyped them only to see them get smashed in the only two big games they played. It is refreshing that the media is actually paying attention to schedule and not just record and names.
