I just checked for it at my neighborhood newsstand and they still had the Oct 6th edition out.

I just checked at the Ridgeland Barnes & Noble at lunch today, and the SI slot on the magazine rack was empty. They had every freakin magazine under the sun, except Sports Illustrated.

Same for me in Alpharetta but I think that was due to not being put out yet

Doubt there are that many MSU/TSUN fans that blitzed the store already this morning. I will check others tonight though and ask.

It usually hits newstands no earlier than Thursday. Source: used to work in retail.

I checked B&N in Bridge Street and Publix near my house in Madison and no luck. I'll look again tomorrow, and Friday if necessary.

As luck would have it, B&N has SI on the lowest shelf so you have to stand on your head to look, and then they're stacked where only the left hand inch of any magazine is visible. It's hard to tell what's what.

Our vendor used to deliver and put out on same day (afternoon) which was friday. But you got to assume there will be more than enough magazines available for any Msu/om fan to purchase in mississippi. If not then hard copy print media deserves to die.

Just got told by my local Barnes and Noble that SI should be on todays truck. Could have it outas early as 8pm.
