Golden is gone to JUCO. I hate that Dak is out, but it is what it is. You need a minimum of 3 quarterbacks in the spring in order to make sure you get enough throws for your wideouts and defensive backs. They will figure something out. If Swindle is still around, we will wear his arm out.

I dont have an answer, but this situation worries me. Why do I get the feeling that Russell is going to suffer some ridiculous injury in a no-contact situation and we are going to be forced to put Tubby under center in the spring...

Speaking of this, are we going to put Russell in one of those paded sumo suits or wrap him in bubble wrap?

Edit: Swindle is gone too. This is getting interesting.

Am I dreaming up a guy named Cowart or something like that? Walkon

You aren't dreaming. Sam Cowart, but I'm not sure if he is still around or not. You need some good arms in the spring, in order to get catches for the wideouts. Often times coaches are dropping 2 quarterbacks at one time, with one throwing right and one throwing left. Gets many more reps for the wideouts and defensive backs when time is limited by the NCAA. I've even seen coaches drop 3 at one time with the middle QB throwing over the middle.

I actually hate it for the guy ... I know he stiffed us but he is a Miss. player and I wish him a speedy recovery

Dak can still throw a bit with a boot on right?

Yeah, he can and I think Mullen was quoted saying that he will participate in some 7 on 7 drills. As long as he's not scrambling or bouncing around, he can throw some passes in practice.

If CJ had moved on at that point, I would have too. He couldn't let it go, though. The dude was so pissed off that Mullen wouldn't give him what him what he and mama wanted that he has a chip on his shoulder like few I've seen. Maybe we should have just paid him, but 17 him and I couldn't care less if ever plays another down.

Who the heck are these guys? I did a quick google search on them and nada, nothing, zilch not even a maxpreps page from their HS or anything on them associated with football other than Cowart was a walkon last spring.

And the choir says "Amen". 17 him! The NEMS Daily Journal is reporting that he

will be having surgery tomorrow and recovery will be 3 months so it doesn't sound like the normal fibula injury in that it is requiring surgery.

Paging Forrest Williams. Paging Forrest Williams. Looking like he should've

offered him to begin with. I saw him playing in a flag football league this past fall and he while that's a far cry from SEC caliber football he appeared to have gained weight and was still very accurate passing the ball.

Coaches had to play in practice in basketball and now we need a walk on QB. I watched the clip above with envy, are we just stuck as bottom feeders?

Williams couldnt even play in juco

What is with you people thinking intramural players are even in the same league as college players? It's not 1950 anymore
