Springer and Johnson 18 for 33 FGs, 50 points.
Boston and Mintz 3 for 19 FGs, 10 points.

Honest question: if you think this what do you think about Cal’s coaching abilities? He’s owned the head to head between the two and has never had as much talent (you can argue he has more this year but it’s close either way).

They can both shoot the ball or drive and score, we don't have anybody like either one of them and they will both come back while both of ours leave.

I think Boston is really fragile mentally,, Cal may have screwed his mind up with all the yelling to begin the season..I watch both Boston and Springer play several games in HS and Boston was miles better..I didn't see Keon Johnson ..

I think you just have to throw out stats/records when UT/UK plays. I come from a family of UK fans (from cincy) and we all know it doesnt matter who is favored. Anyone can beat anyone in this matchup, so hard to say.

I love Barnes. Love everything he brings to the table in terms of off the court. The health of the program is phenomenal and culture is unreal (heavy faith based as well). However me saying terrible in game is moreso about the stretch. He doesnt play the right guys imo, gives too long of a leash to the wrong ball handlers (vescovi), questionable foul approaches when up 3 (not doing it), and other questionable offensive sets and problems. Ill say this, he doesnt care if you're the best scorer on the team, if you dont play D, you dont play. His defense will always show up, but his offenses are a weakness. Probably why he struggles down the stretch, you need to create offense.

As for Cal, my opinion is he is a **** coach. He is a recruiter who wins based on talent alone. The problem with his approach is that sometimes 5 stars bust and when its more than one, it equals a down year for UK. Its hard to let him go tho bc generally you have a shot EVERY year. The problem is you dont know what you got and as a fan, you dont get to connect with any players thru their career. Tough spot. Id rather see a Beard there if I am a UK fan. But i love watching the dysfunction and my family get so mad lol, so i hope cal stays forever.
