Great win. Chambers is a great team but I don't see them making it to the Championship game this year. I'm from VA so Will always root for VA teams. I sat on HS side during this game. The HS fans travel really well. Hell they had more fans there than Chambers.
Coach Johnson had his team prepared and he coached an excellent game. He is a great coach! There is no doubt about it. I'm from the 757, but I stay in Charlotte and I have been following the Springers for a minute. I'm very impressed with the consistency and competitiveness at HS.
Our QB hit the winning shot in the State Basketball Championship game against Maury this past Spring. He and the football team are hungry to get another State Title. Martin's got in in his blood now from being on the basketball team! He's a great athlete and is really going to be special. He's a Junior this year, he's improving in leaps and bounds from last year. It will be interesting how well he blossoms with 2 seasons to play still! HS plays Manchester this coming week, then we travel to Martinsburg, WV to play the Bulldogs....
