as quiet as Dan does injuries and lets people in his programs, you are going to be able to tell who is and who is not on scholarship

Last year we signed 22 but none could count back due to us signing a full class a year earlier. Then we had one not enroll but we replaced him by putting cherrington on scholarship. This put last years class at 22, leaving us with only 3 spots to count back this year.

This is actually probably right. That would make the 28 number work out.

If using the 25 cap back counting multiple years, because we signed 26 in 2010, we couldn't back-count ANY of last year's EE's. So, we actually can't back-count like Florida and some of these other programs are doing. Makes sense...guess he rule may actually be working in retrovert back over time, not just applying to the current and previous season.

Thanks for that explanation! It makes alot of sense, and the numbers actually work. That's exactly what I was looking for this whole time!

is no longer committed to USM.Has anyone seen this guy play? I've had a wide range of opinions of his ability but has yet to see where our staff has paid him alot of interest.

I think the max you canrollback to the previous year (sign in Dec and not count toward 25) is 3 no matter how many players you signed the previous year. If you signed 25 the previous Feb and all qualified you can't roll any back.

I think the 3 you roll back have to actually sign their scholarships in Dec. You can't wait to ssee what happens then count some guys that signed in Feb back to Dec.

So max class size is 3 in Dec and 25 in Feb

You also have to stay under the 85 total on football scholarship no matter how many you sign.

pretty sure that is how the 20 man class ate up 22 scholys.
