If you participated in last year's SPS Pick 'Em you should have received an invite for this year's, and I'll have the full launch post for everyone else on here in the coming days, but I'm curious to know from those of you who participate if you'd prefer any changes to how we run it.
There's a handful of options as to how it's scored and what games are included. The way we have been running it is as follows, with my thoughts on them.

Use Spread - clearly, not planning on changing this
Use Our Tiebreak System - sure, why not
Drop each team's lowest scoring week? - We have used "No, use all weeks" for years, as there has never been any mercy in this dojo. I understand maybe wanting some grace over a 15 week marathon, but I've also been in leagues where I made my picks every week and felt like I was punished for it when I was forced to drop a week of actual points and it benefited someone who missed a whole week. If someone has a compelling argument as to why to change this, I'll listen....if you like it as it is, I'll listen to that also. If we DID change it, I don't think I would consider more than a single drop week. [Note: If you ARE missing a week, I do get on here every week during the season and remind you to get your picks in and to let you know if there's Friday games, and you have the option to get a reminder email from the system as well, so to that end, if you miss a week, you can't blame me for it. I do at least try to help you remember. And this is a game for real life prizes, so there's something to me to having to earn that as well.]
Games to include, there's three choices, we have historically chosen all three:
-Yahoo default games, described as the most interesting games of the week, selected by Yahoo editors, around 20 games per week.
-AP Top 25 games
-Conference games, and we've always picked SEC, because of course.
This is one where I might be more willing to make a change, because honestly it IS a crapton of games every week. Would we like to maybe drop the Yahoo default games and stick to SEC+AP Top 25, or would you rather keep all three? If you're a person that's prone to missing a week, would having less games to pick from help with that?
What do you all think? I'd like to be a benevolent dictator, but I am curious your thoughts.
