first. Probably High Life or something. My 21st birthday was at the Goldstrike Casino, so my first legal drink was whatever the hell I had there. Turning 21 on a Sunday sucks in Mississippi. Lucky my birthday is usually MLK weekend.

Long time ago I might add. So I have no idea of the cost. Probably couple of bucks.

I was 14 (9th grade) and used my brothers fake ID. We had been trying to get beer all day and nothing was working. We were trying all the country stores out on the county line to no avail. So I finally said 17 it and walked right into the busiest gas station in town. No questions asked. I can't imagine a 14 year old being able to that today. This was late 90's. Beer tasted so much better when you had to spend all day looking for it.

I was 15 with my brother's ID. God bless those Cajuns and their 18 year old drinking age.

on the way to play a round at Deerfield. I worked at Colonial growing up and they'd let me sneak in a late afternoon 36 holes on Mondays out there. I think the place closed down now. It was some ancient old man who ran it. Never one to check IDs.

I'd been sneaking it out of the beer closet long before that though. Had a key when I was 14 so I could keep the beer shack on the course stocked.

6 pack of Schiltz (could have been PBR or even Bud), Bob’s Drive-in, Columbus on the west bank of the mighty Tombigbee River. Think it was summer I turned 16 but age didn’t really matter as long as you drove up, honked the horn, placed your order, handed him ~ $2.00 & roughly five minutes later, a six in a plastic bag with ice showed up at the driver’s window.

May have been youth or maybe it was the beer but nobody had burgers like Bob's. Man, I miss that place.

Freshman year at the Texaco down by the police station in Starkville. Fake id of course. I used that fake for 3 years until the week before I turned 21 and a new cop took it from me at Ricks. I was pissed too. I was going to bronze it.

was deadly w/ those empty pony bottles on road signs I might add, left handed over the top of the car even.

Edited to say that was the 1st legal one. I proudly asked the guy if he wanted to check my i.d. and he said why start now. Showed it to him and he couldn't believe he had been selling it to me all that time illegally. The 1st one I remember ever buying was at the Pizza Hut in Oxford with a fake i.d. around 15 or 16 years old.

A couple of buddies and I found an old country store that was located out in the boondocks that would sell beer to anyone that they trusted. We used to get the old lady that owned the store a decent Christmas gift each year to show our gratitude.

I think it was Yungling. I've tried beer many times and never could get past the fact that it tastes like crap.

I'll stick to cocktails.

I anticipate this will not be a very popular opinion.

at Proud Larry's with my buddy's dad and his friends. They actually embarressed the waitress for asking my age. My buddy played OL under Tuberville. I promptly went to State the next year and the rest is history.

A few Busch Light quarts were my first in store purchase. Bud light was my first beer I ever drank.

the cashier never carded me. I guess they thought that a teenager wouldn't be dumb enough to do it in the grocery store. Well I was.

with Stallion4Tiiiggaaah's ID. Don't remember the beer. I probably didn't need the ID at PJ's.
